The world takes an unexpected turn when disaster strikes earth. Literally. A meteor landing in Beijing, China brings a mysterious plague that begins to raise the dead from the ground from which they were buried. After 3 days, 80% of the world is already contaminated, and it's spreading. Everywhere.

A story filled with twisting details of who you can't and can trust, a tale of jealously and even a random lesbian love triangle, Davis embarks on a journey of martial arts, survival, and emotional maturity. After years of trying to be okay being alone, will living on the brink of extinction teach her how to rely on others? Will she survive until help is sent from above?
