The second book to my series "Broken" "The good people are long gone... And once something is gone like that it seems you can never get it back". This book starts a year later. A terrible accident occurred, and the world isn't the place it used to be. N's plan to get us noticed worked... In the wrong way. Us Broken fought back, killing innocent people when we lost control. The people who survived were all bad people it seems... There's one thing I know for sure. We need to make this world the place it was once again. Not only that, we need to clear our name. Broken. We may be Broken but we are not beasts. We may have caused this, but we will fix it. I go by "S" now. We normally just call ourselves letters. Some people have memories linked to their names, so it's a way of forgetting their past. {I hope you enjoy!} {Update: I wrote "my series" which was wrong. It isn't mine, it's ours. I may be the writer but you're the readers and you're very important. It's not mine, it's ours.}

I have walked these streets my whole life, I know them just the same as if they were etched in my head with a sharp knife, scored in deep like some strange work of art. These are the streets I grew up on and for the most part I'm calm here, at home, on the down low with a steady heart beat. Not tonight though. Tonight my heart wants out of my chest. It wants to beat free of its cage. It pounds like it's going to crack a rib. Every color is brighter, every noise louder, every stranger makes my heart beat more fiercely.
