Two men, affiliated only in youth, raised together by "The Family"; one, as an attempt at creating the first "Sinless Man." And the other brought up beside him as "The Devils Vessel."
An experiment in which would prove to fail greatly.
Seventeen years later, the children have long parted ways, but when Apollo leaves in search of his long lost "brother," only to find him living a life of sin and misfortune, he has no choice but to bring the Lost Lamb of Wakefield back to Mississippi; where it all began.

"The difficulties lay not so much in developing new ideas as in escaping old ones" Technology had been playing its most important in the human lifestyle in this modern world. Everywhere we go every man on Earth, would have various gadgets around them. The world is now borderless. Everyone can communicate with anyone no matter where they are. There aren't any more boundaries between societies. Other than that, with the presence of the Internet man, could seek various kinds of information from multiple websites; be it useful or harmful. Death had not been any man's fear. Even though it is a fact that every man would pass to the afterlife when the time had come, they do not fear the consequences they had to bear later. Some mistakes weren't well observed as not everyone was gifted with good observation and understanding skills. Due to that, some man was blind by revenge. Hatred and revenge burnt in their heart and soul forgetting that the law is still being upheld. Letters and notes were old ways to express someone's feelings. With the new technology, many had decided to move on, using e-mails and social media to express what they feel. Having a note in a home compound might be exciting for anyone but not Addison Lore. Those notes were sent to her without fail for fourteen continuous days. Even a red ruby ring. Will she be able to escape the fate she was about to face? Or would she succumb to her unknown fate leading her to nothing but death itself? (JustWriteIt 2017)

𝗔𝗠𝗕𝗬𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗥 || 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 on @CelestiaCove 's Mellow Miscellanea Reading List & @StoriesUndiscovered 's Light Up The Dark reading list [November 2023] XD || Summer of 1985 || Anthony and Thomas Banks, brothers with scarce in common, must set aside their differences when a corpse is discovered in their new home; in order to not fall back into the clutches of their evil guardian. +++ 12-year-old Anthony Banks is everything his brother is not. Short. Plain. Timid. And not a single ounce of superpowers. However, he's elated when they move in to the home of his dreams this summer: no more bullies and fiery nuns. And no more evil Diselhock. Well, until he finds a corpse embedded in the living room wall. Wrapped in dark, slimy ivy. 16-year-old Thomas Banks has not yet gotten over the arson that had killed his parents five years ago. Not when their guardian Keith Diselhock's been hanging it over his head like the sword of Damocles. But not anymore, at least. He's managed to secure a deal; all they have to do is not cause trouble. Piece of cake, right? With the ghastly corpse in their new home, reemerging friends & foes, and a sinister ice cream truck that keeps the neighbors out of sight, will Tony and Tom live peacefully in this "pristine" neighborhood?
