Kion and Rani are living happily together as rulers of the mystical Tree of Life. However, tragedy strikes when a new lion arrives at the tree and is welcomed in with utmost hospitality. The lion spreads fake rumors of Kion's actions. He is betrayed by all of his friends. As if it couldn't get any worse, he soon finds Rani cheating on him. Filled with heartbreak and anger, he leaves the tree and is soon found and welcomed into another pride. However, what happens when Kion has to return to the place he once called home to assist in the war against a strong foe? Will he refuse or will he help is ex-friends?
