afraid of the dark

When we find ourselves afraid of the dark,
we only need to run to the One who promises:

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." ~ John 8:12

"Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path." ~ Psalm 119:105

"For You will light my lamp; The LORD my God will enlighten my darkness." ~ Psalm 18:28

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me." ~Psalm 23:4

"The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?" ~ Psalm 27:1

"Through the tender mercy of our God,
With which the Dayspring from on high has visited us;
To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death,
To guide our feet into the way of peace." ~ Luke 1:78-79

With the Lord we never have to fear the dark! For He is Light!
