It is 2 and a half years after Gregor and Lizzie have returned from the underland, but their family is still in New York City. Dreams of giant rats and falling to his death still bothers Gregor from time to time, and he isn't improving as a student of the overland. One day, he receives word of a mysterious new prophecy concerning him, which predicts certain doom if certain measures are not taken. A bloody battle ensues, but they fail to unravel the most delusive stanza of the prophecy. Will they survive?

After committing treason and narrowly escaping death, a selfish prince must learn to adapt, survive, and discover his own potential in the world he never knew existed, beyond Regalia's walls. *** To think it all started with a singular question: "What if the fall in "Gregor the Overlander" wasn't the end of Henry's story, but the beginning?" Well, here is my answer. Today, I invite you to come along on a brand new journey to the Underland - only this time you follow not the Overland warrior but the fallen Prince of Regalia. After committing treason and narrowly escaping death, Henry finds himself cut off from his society, stranded in the unexplored wilds of his world. There, he must adapt, survive, and forge more than one reluctant alliance. Oh, and learn one or another lesson about simple decency while we're at it. Meet new characters and species, and face villains and obstacles as you join Henry on his own personal quest for the curious combination of survival, self-discovery, and, of course, the character development canon never gave him. And what a quest it will be. *** DISCLAIMER: This work is based on Suzanne Collins' "Gregor the Overlander"-series (The Underland Chronicles). It is not recommended to read this work without having read those books. Going forward, I will treat the readers as though they have read the original (there will be massive spoilers, and knowledge of canon characters, events, and universe/lore will be expected). *** © The Underland Chronicles - Suzanne Collins © My Characters - me © Cover Image - me
