This was my dream job since high school and by all accounts it was a dream. Traveling the world, designing and making clothing, curating vintage looks and dressing a celebrity for the red carpet. 5 years ago an email seeking out vintage tee shirts that I almost over looked, wound up opening a door that fulfilled those dreams. Being given the opportunity to work with, and now replace a legendary stylist like Cathy wasn't something I would have ever thought would be on my radar... especially for someone like Post Malone, the global super star, the unlikely fashion icon, America's Sweetheart with face tattoos. The only man with face tattoos that your grandma would bake a plate of cookies for. And suddenly he hated me... Everything about me... except how I did my job for him. He was making my life a living hell and the ink wasn't even dry yet on Cathy's farewell card. This was my dream job, but was it worth this??

I stare at Austin from behind the camera as he's in the middle of the interview. He was always so hyper and excited to talk to anyone and everyone. His soul was so pure and I loved being in his life. "Post Malone, Austin, I am finally happy to be able to get this interview with you. It was hard work!" The beautiful lady giggled waiting for his reaction. Austin laughed lightly and itched his beard. "Well, you know. I've been in the studio a lot recently. But I'm glad we were able to work something out." She nodded. "Let's jump right into it. I'm going to start off with the hardest thing to talk about. And I say that because you won't talk about it with anyone." His face dropped. "Let's talk about Katie. Let's talk about the other night." he never interrupted her. "You guys seem to always be off an on but you will never clearly state if you two are an item. Are you an item?" Austin slightly smiled, "you know, Katie is very special to me. We grew up together so we are so close. But," He took a deep breath. "She's engaged." I could tell there was confusion. "What about the video of you two at the club? You looked like an item there." "I'd rather not talk about that night." "I've seen the way you two look at each other. I think a lot of people think the same." She bit her lip hoping to be the first to get information about this topic. But Austin promised me he wouldn't say anything to anyone! I know I can trust him. After all, he is my best friend. It was silent for a moment. It was as if he didn't know what to say. He first cleared his throat, "Alright. I'll tell everyone the truth." What?! I bit my lip hard hoping he does the right thing. "Let your fans know." She leaned in waiting for his answer. "Katie and I are engaged."

She is well and truly fucked. He looks better, way better than he did in high school. In high school he was delicious but now he is just scrumptious. Dahlia can't move. She knows if she tries - her knees will buckle. Fuck how does he look even better with age? Shit. He has cut his hair although it is still an unruly mass of curls on the top of his head. His jaw has a serious amount of hair on it making him look mature but not old. He is also covered in tattoos, from what she can see, they cover him head to toe. Face and neck tattoos often look like overkill, but on Austin they just work. They add to his presence rather than take away from it. But then again she is inlove with him so she may be a tiny bit biased. Austin is looking directly at her with a slightly furrowed brow. Does he recognize her? Did Gina tell him she was coming? She is sure Gina said she had. "Dahlia, come here," Gina says walking over to Dahlia and grabbing her elbow then tugging her toward Austin. "Picking up strays already, Gina?" Austin asks when they get to him. "Oh Austin, you can be so silly sometimes," Gina hits his chest softly and he grabs her hand, holding it to his chest while he continues to stare at Dahlia. "This is Dahlia. Remember? From school..." Gina explains. Dahlia just stands in front of Austin like an idiot as he looks her up and down. "Dahlia...isn't that a stripper name?" Austin asks.
