Taking Chances

Ellie Parker used to be normal. A normal girl in a normal town with normal parents and a normal boyfriend. And then one day, everything was gone. In a blink of an eye everything she had worked so hard for, every plan in her little blue planner, all of her dreams went up in smoke. She should have known though, as her mom always said, "Life is what happens to you when you're busy making other plans."

Kyle Abrams used to be normal. A normal dead father, a old family dog and a normal foster home. And then one day, a chance was standing right in front of him, with broken bright blue orbs. He knew though, as his dad always said, "In the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take," and this was a damn good chance.
