Finally,summer break has began,we have 6 week's off and I am going to have the most fun in the whole universe! But of course I'm mostly exited about the beach. Oh how I love the beach,the warm,soft sand,the lapis lazuli,shimmering sea,its just.......perfect!
*The Next Day*
As we come down the hill side I roll down the window and i began to smell the life of the beach,I didn't care if it was fishy,I just was desperate to be down their at that very moment!

"Alright, it's 12 noon. Deal or not?" I couldn't look at him, so I stared at the beauty in front of me. Somehow I knew he was watching it too. I felt like we were characters of a famous story, standing side by side, gazing ahead. I hesitated, my heart was beating fast, I was almost afraid that he's going to hear it too. But for the first time in my life, I trusted my heart and told my brain to go to hell. The girl lead in this story was going to do what she wanted, and won't fear the consequences. "Let's do this." I said and turned towards him. We remained silent for a couple of moments, absorbing the meaning of the deal we just agreed to. And then I saw his lips turned upwards just enough for me to notice. He turned to me and held my hand. I felt several emotions just by touching him. Nervousness, excitement, fear, happiness all at once. I pushed them all aside, and smiled ear to ear. He held his hand up, counting down to three, my heart racing with every finger he raised. And just as he finished, we jumped off the cliff.Complete

Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story. This isn't related to this story but, Hi i'm Kate. this is my first fully written story, though its only a short story i'm very proud of myself for fully committing to one theme and finishing it. This short story is very over dramatic and complicated because its my first story but I hope you enjoy. Description: "What are your summer plans?" My teacher asks the class. My classmates respond with the basic responses, vacation, beach, and hanging out with friends. I respond with vacation, but I don't even want to go to Orange County. It's not too far from where I live, but Sana Cruz and OC is a long drive. The bell rings, that means it's summer, that means I have to spend a whole summer away and with my dad, but my friends and I have plans to go have a bonfire at the peer tonight so at least ill have that before I leave all summer.Complete

I feel uneasy under his gaze, and i feel his eyes burning a hole in the side of my face. "No, I won't explain because it's not important." He says in a low, almost, growl. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?"
