"Was loving you a mistake Livia? You were my everything, how could you do this to me?" I stare at her in disbelief as she flashes a sinister smile and lunges at me. Everything around me becomes darker, and I feel myself falling onto the ground.
"maybe." She mumbles as i see a red glow in her eyes.
The last thing I hear before darkness consumes me.

There are worse things than death. ___ "What is wrong with you?" I seethed. She had my back against the wall, pinning me down so I couldn't move. She was much stronger than me, even when I used my strength to get out of her embrace. I held her gaze and I knew that she was gone. There wasn't an ounce of goodness left in her body. She laughed at my question. Of course, I knew what was wrong with her. But I have to find a way to get her back. "What is wrong with me? Ha, nothing sweetheart." she told me with a smile on her face. "I'm just having a little fun." "Yeah, and fun for you is killing innocents," I growled. "Oh, I hate to say this to you but they aren't all innocent." I finally broke free of her and I dropped her to the floor. I held her down with both arms while I was on top of her. All she did was give me a smile. An eerie smile that made a shiver run down my spine. "I should kill you for what you've done," I whispered. "I should make you pay." "Oh, but Sebastian, you won't," she said. "You know why? Because at the end of the day I'm still me, and you will never hurt me, will you?" I hated that she was right. I couldn't kill her. My mind told me that it would be the best to do it but my heart told me otherwise. I mentally cursed at myself for letting this happen to her. "Elora, I know you're still in there." I said. She was still on the ground, but she was not resisting which seemed odd. "She died a long time ago," she said finally. "Alongside her love for you." ___ Book Two in the "From Death to Life" Trilogy #13 in Bloodlust

They see me as a burden. A spoiled, selfish girl unworthy of love or trust. I knew the day would come when my family would finally decide to get rid of me for good, but I never expected them to marry me of to a king who sees me as nothing more then a tool. Cassius is cold and angry, burdened by the weight of his people's suffering. But in rare moments, I catch glimpses of the man behind the mask - a man whose duty has forced him to close his heart to the beauty of the world around him. His advisor Maxwell is quick to cut me down if I falter. Behind his sharp gaze and scarred body is a warm heart, that shows me compassion in my darkest moments. And Theo, who seems just as tortured as the flames he wields, seems determined to remind me of every flaw I carry, but his pain mirrors mine and all I can see is a friend who I need to save from himself. I've tried to make myself irreplaceable in their hearts, but no matter what I do, it's never enough. The magic they have traded me for, the magic that runs in my families blood, the magic that they think will safe their people, is not the one I command. They think I'm weak. They think I'm worthless. But I've endured too much to give up on my second chance. Even if my secrets threaten to destroy everything I am hoping for, I'll find a way to rise. For myself. For this kingdom. For a chance at something real. ----- Mature themes (18+) Mmmf Multiple POV (only prologue in 3rd person) Updates every Friday 45 chapters already planned This book is rather detailed for Wattpad and the pacing is medium :)

In the world of Dragonfire, anything is possible. Flying, teleportation, invisibility, the ability to create a lightning storm on a whim...anything can be done. And anything can exist. Goblins, Orcs, Dragons, Dwarves, Kitsunes...there are countless races, and countless abilities. A world of fantasy in which anything is achievable. Or so it seems. After all, everything has a cost. And victory...victory is the most costing of all. Across the Black Sea, guarded by the Leviathan, there exists a large land separated into five territories. Celestia, Arvan, Ingres, Illicen, and Arumi. These five territories are named after those who control them. At least, that is how it used to be. From a distant land, the Snake Kingdom managed to bypass the Leviathan, and invade these five territories! Under the guidance of General Clauve, they crushed everyone in sight, until their only remaining opponent was Celestia. But they made a mistake, and Celestia capitalized. In a crushing defeat, the Snake Kingdom was bested after nearly 8 years of conflict. After the war ended, Albedo Aria, a soldier from Celestia, was promoted to the rank of General. But she didn't feel like a hero. Suffering from severe PTSD, this story follows her as she tries to overcome the nightmares of war, and move on from the terrible things she was forced to do. She was raised to be a soldier, and joined the war from the age of eleven. As a soldier of Celestia, she could never, and still cannot ever disobey any orders. When war calls, she must answer. Whether she is truly willing to or not. But after four years without conflict, surely things couldn't reach that state again? Or perhaps that isn't the case. After all, her dear cousin must deliver a letter to her. A letter telling her that the Snake Kingdom is on the rise in their very own land. A letter telling her that every sliver of happiness she has gained after the war ended will be lost. A letter telling her that she must return to war...
