This story features Fierce, the brave Cave-Guard of the Tribe of Roaring Gale and Twinkle, the young To-Be of the Tribe of Soaring Flames. What's their story and what do they have in common? Will they be able to keep their Cross-Tribe friendship or will they be banished by their leaders for breaking The Rules?

As they get older, the time grows nearer for them to choose successors who will receive their immortality which has been passed on to them by their own mentors.
