Alice is living a quiet life as the pastor's daughter. Her only concerns are to have enough reading material and to hide from an unwanted suitor. But when her best friend is diagnosed with cancer and just a couple months to live, Alice throws herself into fulfilling her friend's last wishes. Sharon wants just two things before she dies: to write and publish a book, and to marry. Alice begs her suitor to court Sharon with the promise to marry him once her friend has passed away.
Originally published on Ravelry about nine years ago, this was one of my first long pieces of fiction. It isn't very good, put I still love it for what it was.

Serena had a rough life and after going to college she meets her best friend Elaine, with only a couple months left of college she meets her best friends dad and she didn't expect him to be a hot man who wants to be paid in sex. She was over the guys her age so trying to comprehend the fact her best friend wants her to be happy with her dad she just feels it's all a dream.
