A generation ago, foreign invasion devastated the island nation of Keshenne. The war was won, but to prevent such a terrible conflict from happening again, they created the Keshenne Ranger Corps. 

Munira, an eighteen-year-old member of this elite Corps of fighters, and trained since childhood, travels the world of Ragos representing the nation of Keshenne. Leaving home to journey alone, she carries out her mission of fierce benevolence, until someone from her past reappears with new orders.

These orders lead her to The Legion, a growing force led by one of her countrymen and is working to bring the Ranger mission to a new level. But what methods might this new force bring to bear on a country already in turmoil. As her past clashes with her sense of right and wrong, Munira risks alienation from her own people and her very life.
