When Tom gets cheated on by his girlfriend of 2 years, to keep her from bothering him, he comes up with a plan, with his best friend to get a fake girlfriend, one that will hurt Tara. Tom picks the one girl who Tara hates the most. What Tom doesn't expect is to fall deeply, completely in love with this girl. Madison falls in love with Tom, and after a year, with their fake breakup date looming, they get the courage to tell each other how they really feel. Tom surprised Madison with a romantic proposal and they are married soon after.

With pressures of college, and then both becoming cops and heading off to police academy, and then a new unit 21 JumpStreet, Where Madison is reunited with Dennis Booker, the man who saved her from a gang rape, and who was at that time, what she thought was her first love. When Madison and Dennis are reunited, and Tom comes face to face with the man who he already feels jealousy and a little hate for, will there be any problems for this young couple, and their marriage.
