In 1965, Cold Harbor City, Alfonso Machetti and his two friends, Tommy and Pauly, are on the way up in the world. Sammy Scarlatti, son of the notorious mob boss Vinnie Scarlatti, has offered them an opportunity to join the family. To be made, and as made men the world would be theirs to enjoy. But when Tommy is discovered to have stolen from the Scarlatti family, Alfonso and Pauly must fix the situation or end up buried with the rest of the bodies at the bottom of Silver Creek Lake.

When she was a child, Lila Winters witnessed her father beaten nearly to death and dragged away never to be seen again. The event wounded her as a child, but as an adult, it motivates her to find Michael Desantis, the man that murdered her father, at any cost. Living as an investigative journalist, Lila travels to Cold Harbor City to speak to Alfonso Machetti, a man now living as a powerful captain in the Scarlatti crime family, and who also happens to be the key to getting Michael. But when the Scarlatti family is murdered, Lila's quest to kill must be placed on hold until she discovers the truth behind the massacre.
