-It was August, but the air bit at my skin like a winter chill, and I could feel pieces of myself slipping away with it. I wanted back my two-bed, one-bath apartment, with its cluttered walls and dirty tabletops. I wanted back the loudness of the city. I wanted back everything I took for granted just last week.-
Cami Sutton knew how to put a feeling into a song. Her guitar held every moment of her life in its strings, and when she's dropped off at Joanne Stewart's Boarding Academy, it takes on more songs than ever. In the fall of 1976, alongside her new dormmates, Cami learns to put those songs to good use.

An unflinching story of loss, creation, and romance through a teenage girl's desperate songs.

One Last Thing ✅

65 parts Complete

From childhood, Lil's life has been a nightmare. Her mother tried drowning her in the bath as a baby. As a result, she deals with depression and anxiety. When her boyfriend breaks up with her, she decides to get behind the wheel and is tempted to text him one last thing. Imagine her horror when she smashes into another car, the driver someone very close to her. Will she end up like her mom in prison? Will she let despair and guilt drag her back into darkness or will she find hope for a future, as hard as it may be? This is a book I wrote a few years ago before I found Wattpad. I never got a lot of feedback on it, so I appreciate you even taking a look and giving a few comments. You guys are rockstars. Thanks for reading!
