In tandem With The Huntsman

The peaceful village of Grassglow has been Naouel's home for five years, and she wouldn't trade it for anything else in the world. Her best friend lives there, her family makes a decent living, and the endless green and crisp forest air is nothing short of pleasant. Overall, Naouel is more than happy to call this cozy little village home, with or without their cultural and religious differences.

But peace shouldn't be taken for granted, and soon enough-- trouble strikes in the form huntsmen sent to guard Grassglow.

Naouel is immediately drawn to the masked hunters, unable to avert her gaze from the imposing yet ethereal men tasked to protect her cozy little village. Veiled in anonymity, they are impossible to read or differ from each other-- but Naouel is not the type to back away from a challenge, and she is more than ready to discover exactly who those men are, and where their loyalties lie.

A series of strange and bizarre events occur after their arrival, some downright brutal and obscene. With ominous sounds emitting from the forest, Naouel not only finds herself trapped between supernatural and macabre situations, but also in the midst of political issues she has no business poking her nose in as a foreigner.

Good thing she has one of the huntsmen to help her along in her journey.

The only problem? It's a little hard to travel alongside someone who barely talks, nor feels the need to answer your endless questions.

At least he's strong and dependable, and that's enough for Naouel not to fall into a limbo of panic attacks while facing supernatural creatures of varying shapes and sizes.
