This is a poem inspired by the music video for "grave" by Nessa Barrett. It depicts how two lovers rise from their graves at midnight and dance all night, holding each other's hands. It illustrates how love can even conquer death. I took my time writing this one, and I think even after death there is beauty held within.

Like destiny it was meant to happen. It's poetic and symbolic how even though I read you that letter trying to save my marriage to him in the hospital it was you that ended up saving me in the end. It's poetic and symbolic how in spite of a world wide pandemic and lock down we always found each other and healed each others sadness. It wasn't my sobriety that I was scared to lose. It was ruining the friendship and not having it mean a thing to you!
