Cooper has no money or place to stay in this short story. But at least there's one person he can count on; that's where he's heading. Yet, it's five hours away from the only person he loves.
Cooper tries not to dwell on whom he left down in the South. However, it's not easy because he knows he still loves Shannon, no matter the distance.
