 the Jacobs are left reliving the nightmare of what happened six years prior, while Erin navigates her new life and attempts to figure out who to trust. Aria and Emory are still trying to figure out what their new sibling dynamic looks like. with the addition of Bentley point of view being introduced.

Aria feels responsible for the new chaos brought to her family, and feels like it's up to her to repair the reopened scars all while trying to fix her friendship with Bentley and build a relationship with Marcus. while Emory attempts to navigate her feelings, and figure out where she belongs. In addition to handling the fact that Erin seems to be walking right into her life and picking up where she left off. Erin herself just wished she could go back, but instead has to learn what socializing with kids her age is like, and bouncing between her new aunt and her father.  all of this is happening while Bentley attempts to balance whatever it is going on with Emory, and her ever increasing rocky home life.
