She Was Lost...

This poem describes how "she" was confused, upset, and impacted by the outside world as well as the assumptions that others had of her. The way she used to live for other people, the way she followed instructions from them. She was devastated as a result of the pain of lies and deceit because society meant too much to her. She was shocked to discover how she had presented herself to the world, the anxious sensation, fame. However, someone deep within her mind and soul one day let her realize how valuable she was-her spirit, her identity. Inspired, she took the decision to come back to life and live her life on her terms, in her own manner, and without regard for the outside world, society, or expectations that had left her feeling hollow and empty-hearted.
