I will never forget the day my parents left me. That's wen I met Juliet. I'm Jordan Mason, Messenger number 2 in the UCM, aka Under cover murder. My partner Juliet Clark is Messenger number 1. We live in our UCM meeting house in Fairfax Virginia.
One day we were sent by our boss to sneak over (We have our ways of traveling) to NYC to give a letter to one of the people at the UCM meeting house. But we soon found out, that the government has killed everyone of the UCM except for us two(Out of the whole United States!). The USA is in total danger because WE'RE on the loos. We will be tracked down, chased, and searched. But no way those people are going to catch us.
Yet, I have no idea whats going to happen now. Juliet and I will be on the road for quite a long time I'm guessing....
I could care less that those police sirens in the distance wanted to make it so we never saw the light of day again.

I ran downstairs into the living room, my heart pounding as I found all my brothers gathered around Nefeli. Her eyes were frantic, scanning the room, desperately searching for me.
