Leonora Potter knew from a young age that she was rather... different, from the rest of her family. The secret opinions she held regarding Muggles, her reserved nature in comparison to James. As she grew, her parents seemed to cast her aside, her brother's shadows swallowing her whole. And when the sorting hat placed her in Slytherin, their already crumbling relationship had finally shattered. And as a result, she was forced to find family in other places. Perhaps that is how she got mixed in with the Death Eaters.

When the first Wizarding war consumes the wizarding world, Leonora must finally decide who's side she's on, and what that means for the relationships she's built. She must decide who to fight for, and who she'll lose along the way. But surviving a war doesn't mean escaping it. Years later, when history repeats itself, a new generation rises to the fight. And Leonora must finally confront the choices that shaped her.
