War in the Shadows

300 years ago, a terrifying figure threatens humanity's existence, forcing them to flee. His full name was lost with time but those who feared him called him the elven concorer, the destroyer, Casimir. The humans of that time realized that they would soon meet there end if they didn't do something. And so, even when they were practically parellized with fear, the warriors of falkor fought like dragons while the humans escaped bellow the surface. They followed suit few days after and brought back tales of victory and tragedy, for they could not return to the surface as Casimir, in his final moments released a deadly plag that makes anything living become a mindless and bloodthirsty shadow, similar to the shadow soldiers that he commanded. Because of this we are still not able to safely return to the surface 300 years later, or so they say. But i know that this is not the whole story. My dear child, I hope that you will be able to uncover the truth. You will be able to change the story and make things right. At least that is my hope. If not, then I fear for what is to come...
