Between Us

Briella has had a hard life. Her mother had left her and her siblings with their abusive dad at the age of seven. After finally saving up enough money, her and her siblings ran away to a small, remote town. After going through so much and still having to raise her siblings, Briella doesn't think she can afford to love. But what if that love comes with a man who has an army ready to protect her? "Do you normally act this way around people?" I let the question fall from my lips before I can stop it. She looks sure at me with mischievous eyes and a smirk playing at her lips. "I'm not sure what you mean." She says and her breathe fans my lips ever so slightly. The scent of apples dancing on her tongue. "Don't play dumb love, it's not a very good look on you." I state and she chuckles so sweetly, her dimples making an appearance adding to her beauty. "Only with you" she says pushing me farther into the wall as my hands take her waist. "I only get like this with you" she whispers and all control from me slips away as I take her lips with my own, my hand wrapping around her throat instantly. I let her word play over in my mind. I only get like this with her too.
