Remington knows very little of the world, kept within a basement for years by his Mentally ill father who he had grown attached to and loved dearly, left to the mercy of a powerful man. But when a series of events result in him entering the new modern world, he's thrown in the secrets and betrayals of the family that abandoned him.
Too innocent and naïve for the world, Remi must navigate his family and understand the woman that abandoned him. Having to navigate two new brothers, a step father that he doesn't understand and a mother who wants to ignore everything around her. Contending with friendships, modern life and a world that he had never truly seen before, the wave of anxiety is building and the looming threats from the shadows.
