Mary is a young woman who longs for something more in life. She is Rosie's daughter, a kind and caring mother who has always supported her. However, Mary feels lost and directionless. She meets Alastor, an Overlord who is passionate about radio.
At first, Mary is put off by Alastor's sinister and spiteful ways, which he learned during his years on Earth. However, when a demon threatens her life, Alastor comes to her rescue and proves that he is more than just a menacing figure.
As Mary gets to know Alastor better, she begins to see that he is pretty intelligent and has a good heart. However, the demands of his job as an Overlord leave him blind to Mary's feelings for him, and she takes up writing to try to distract herself from her unrequited love.
Things become even more complicated when Alastor's enemy, Vox, tries to come between them. Alastor must act quickly to protect Mary and their budding relationship. But with so many obstacles in their path, will they ever be able to find the love that they both deserve?

As annoyed and hard to read Alastor is, and seems to bring fear to everyone else he passes through, the spider demon seems to like to test the Radio Demon himself to the limit where it worries Charlie that Alastor would ends killing them all than helping them like what he said he would do, despite he wishes to see the failures of this little silly project of hers But as time went on, things began to set a bit calmer between the Deer and the Spider, although from the front view it still seems like they still despite each other, or is there something else hidden under the rock? Her deal is not a bad one but she can not live her afterlife without Alastor always being there. Will he allow her to find love? Because if Evelyn finds love, Evelyn will want her freedom. Maybe a handsome devil will help her. This is going to be a romance but not an Alastor romance.
