Jahseh was always what most might consider unlovable; both through self-reflection and societal standards.

The word 'unlovable' can be broken down into three things:

1. incapable of inspiring love or admiration; for Jahseh he could define this as his love for looking dark and spooky. Who's going to love a freak clothed solely in black with two-toned dreads and a permanent scowl on his face?

2. not having attractive or appealing qualities; this one doesn't fit; even Jahseh knows that. He can bed damn near any person he wants. But then again, sex doesn't equal love.

3. not lovable; the simplest definition is often the best.

He wasn't sure what it was about himself. It's not that he never had anyone to love him.

It's just that everyone who loved him had left him.
