In this modern au story, Sanemi is failing both his math and english classes. He doesn't pay attention during math and he cannot write clearly and he certainly cannot talk properly/formally. Obanai is not like Sanemi but he's definitely not better. ( Quick note!: Obanai and him despise Giyuu. They would pick on him and often give him death stares) Sanemi's math and english teacher came into an agreement and got a tutor for Sanemi. As usual, this angered him. Though, his mother had so much on her plate. As much as he hated this idea, he agreed (not in a nice way). On his way to the library to meet his library, he texts his mom, letting her know that he has a tutor and will have to stay back for a while. Once inside the library, he walked to a quiet and isolated area. He saw someone with headphones with their back facing him. It seems like they were drawing. As he walked closer but he slowly began to recognize this person. The tutor turned around as they noticed the other person's presence. Sanemi's eyes widen as he saw Tomioka Giyu as his tutor.

Giyuu Tomioka never escaped from the clutches of insanity. Being dragged away by relatives of his that were doctors all because he insisted that his sister was slaughtered by demons, it was the truth, but over time as these doctors started to chip away at his mind he was left unsure of any reason demons would exist in a world. These doctors always tormented Giyuu even in his sleep to the point he became an emotionless being. Until he was saved by a woman. For the first time in years Giyuu actually felt something and instead of working on the opposing side of demons, he found himself working for a demon, she was kind and quiet, and almost emotionless in a way, she treated Giyuu like a normal human being but then she was recruited to help people who slayed demons, since she couldn't work in the sunlight, Giyuu was often sent in her stead when test were being ran during the day, there he met some people who were interesting, people's lives that were damaged by demons but they never seemed emotionless like him, it confused him made him wonder if he was always supposed to be like this, if there was a way he could have been different. As he wonders into his thoughts, he runs into someone, someone who looked severely damaged by the hands of demons on the outside but on the inside he seemed put together but a little degraded, he seemed to be intrigued by Giyuu and Giyuu wouldn't admit but he intrigued him. So Giyuu found himself being followed by this person and constantly annoyed by him that for the first time in years he felt emotions.Complete
