The last Hunger Games

" These games have to be different. It's the last one and it's also a quarter quell. We have to come up with something that has never been done before in the history of the Hunger Games."

" I have an idea. We will hold 12 Hunger Games for each district. So at this year's reaping, 24 children will be drawn in each district, 12 girls and 12 boys. There will be eight winners in each of these games.
As long as these games go, we will let the tributes and their families think it's over after that. They will think that the 96 winners in total can go back to their districts. Only when the first 12 games are over will they learn the truth."

"What is the truth?"

" We will hold 3 more Hunger Games. The first for the winners from District 1,2,3 and 4;the second for the winners from District 5,6,7 and 8;the third for the winners from District 9,10,11 and 12. 8 winners are also possible in these games."

" But then we have 24 winners at the end..."

" I wasn't finished yet. For the last 24 tributes, the Hunger Games will be held one last time. In this final game, there can only be one winner."

"Oh, that's great! We'll take that idea."
