I just knew Dalton and I weren't each other's soulmate or anything of the sort. I mean our relationship turned marriage was good while it lasted, but everything took a turn when I left to film Wicked in London. Like, he had gained a newfound freedom.

Meeting Y/n and finding out she was casted made me overjoyed to work with her. We got along well from the start and shared a lot of the same interests. Her and I both had a similar background with broadway and we both were complete nerds with a musical passion.

We became the best of friends until she heard me crying one night and came to console me. Everything in my life changed so quickly and it all came crashing down on my shoulders. She was there to shelter the weight of it all.
