Jaskier is done. He knows this is the end, this is his last journey. His heart could never recover from a wound so deep. If he was human? Maybe. He watched a lot of broken-hearted humans on his travels. Some died, but most lived. He admired the tenacity, the will to cling to life when the most important to them is lost. But Jaskier isn't human and when his time comes, he takes off his shoes and walks away as he should. As every unicorn does when their heart is broken.
