HIS KALANK

The last time I met him before he left for Austria, it was the day of my parents'funeral.

The venomous relatives knew I was all alone having no shield to protect me. Some mocked , some talked shit and all I could do was cover my ears.

My maternal cousin breaks my favourite vase . I was helpless and they took full advantage of my vulnerable condition

He kept breaking many things that my parents once gifted me.
I cried telling him to stop.

My elder sister was about to raise her hand and I closed my eyes helpless.

But a strong pair of hands held her wrist tightly.

"Iss par ek kharoch bhi aaya na ! Sabko maar dunga" Shreyank Tripathi, stared at everyone with fierce anger.

I had already loved him since my childhood and now I devote him. I took the oath that I would never marry anyone of it's not him as my groom.

But he had to go and I had to live here struggling with my relatives,my cousins and the society

Ever since he left , I felt like the roof of protection collapsed and I'm helpless.

Years, months and days passed,

He was returning ! and that moment felt like my shield was returning.
I pray to the Gods and Goddesses.

Only to be locked inside my room and the dreams of meeting him after ages shattered.
