When Katalina Stormborn, the first born daughter of Daenerys Stormborn, is sent to King's Landing by her mother in an effort to form an alliance between the Targaryens and the Lannisters, she is immediately placed before the arrogant 20-year-old King of Westeros. Joffrey Baratheon has no intention of making her his Queen. However, forced by his mother, he has no choice. After spending time with his future Queen, he begins to realize that there is something about the young Targaryen that he can't quite shake. Something that causes him to feel some sort of humanity. But when a young knight enters the picture and takes Katalina's attention off of her betrothed, Joffrey's jealousy rises a thousand fold, and he begins to realize that he would do just about anything to make Katalina his. Even burning the knight, and the entire world, to the ground, to keep her safe.
