The Rain Before The Rainbow

I was born frail and underweight, doctors said I was supposed to die before or within my first month of life. Five to ten percent of children with this condition live past their first year, these children often have severe intellectual disability, and I'm one of them. But this was my mother's last chance to have a child, she said I was the rain before the rainbow. And I didn't believes so, it was just rain before he came into my life. But he didn't see me like the rest, he didn't see my condition, he saw me for what I was a rainbow.
