*A WATTPAD FEATURED GUIDE* *Highest Ranking #5 in Non-Fiction's HOT List* *Ranked #1 in #how-to, #1 in #editor, #1 in #publishing, and #1 in #grammar* • Do you find yourself with too many typos? • Do grammar and spelling tools not always find your slip-ups? • Is English grammar just not your thing? • Are you a victim of writer's block? • Do your characters' personalities fall flat? • Is your dialogue boring? • Do you need help staying consistent with your points-of-view? • Are you struggling with choosing the best genre for your work? • Have you finished your first draft and don't know where to go from there? • Are you in the bulk of your revising stage and could use some guidance? jgfairytales has compiled this guidebook together through her experience as an editorial freelancer and Wattpad editor and critic. She knows what the Wattpad writer struggles with. She wants to help you learn how to avoid those slip-ups again, and she does so with easy-to-understand writing. Learn how to edit your work like an editor through these chapters full of detailed explanations, examples, guides, tips, and practice questions from yours truly. After reading this guidebook, you will walk away with an understanding of (American) English grammar and the confidence to comfortably edit your own work. The Art of Writing: How to Write Bestselling Novels autorstwa Cephyr13

[New chapter posted every Friday] Would you like to learn how to draw your readers in with your blurb and your opening lines so that they feel they have to keep reading to find out what happens next? Would you like to learn how to craft characters who are so interesting and real that your readers would love to be them and can't help but go through the story with them? Would you like to learn how to craft sentences, paragraphs, and chapters that keep your readers enthralled? Would you like to learn how to prevent writer's block? The Art of Writing will teach you all of these skills and more--everything you need to write a bestseller. You've probably noticed that your first and second chapters have lots of reads, but the chapters after that have very few reads or votes. You can partially blame that on people clicking on the first chapter just to take a quick glance at it and maybe add it to their reading list. But that explanation only goes so far for most Wattpadders. The real reason is more likely that your story isn't written in such a way that really draws a readers in, almost forcing them to keep reading. But you can give your story that edge it needs to become great just by following a few easy guidelines and learning some key techniques for success. In fact, if you haven't already noticed, some of those techniques are being used in this description to give you just enough information about something you want in order to get you hooked. And your stories should do the same. Wattpad is full of writers who have great story ideas but very little training in the skills required to craft an amazing story that really sucks a person in. Which means we end up with endless stories that promise amazing plots but can't deliver on that promise. Not to worry, though. We're about to change all of that. So get ready to learn the skills you need to write a binge-worthy bestseller. ***NOTE: If there's a skill you'd like me to write a chapter about, just let me know***

The rambling of a writer

19 części W trakcie Dla dorosłych

[Me, complaining and contradicting all and everything written in every fanfiction created.] No hate, Just me, rambling about different topics in Fanfiction writing. Why? Because we all start somewhere, am I right? The good, the bad, the rightout clichès and the straight up delulu stuff. Note that I probably did most -if not all- of these things myself when writing, so be prepared of your beautiful cringefest and maybe learn a thing or two about writing a plot/story. Side note: Writing is a creative process, so... no shame in making any mistakes! We all have to start from somewhere! Side side note: Most of the things I talk about come either from my personal opinion OR from the things I've learned over the years. I've been writing since age ten and even did a Minor in creative writing whilst studying for my degree. Last side side side note: The fun is to read these chapters and then visit a random story on wattpadd. I guarentee you, you'll either groan in annoyance ance you can see these things or you giggle at how predictable things will get once you know some writer mistakes. It's all fun and it educates all of us! -xXx-
