    Button wasn't always a family dog. She was born in a shelter. Her mother who was the Siberian husky, unfortunately died just after she was born and the father didn't like her or her litter mates. Button ran away from the shelter and hid iin Mill Brook hospital carpark. The Husky cross would live there until the nurse and medical staff trained her to be a therapy dog. She enjoyed the job. But when Elisabeth arrived at the hospital, the young dog grew attached to her and the Bakers.
