Juvelle is the first-born daughter of Ifalna and Professor Gast Faremis. She volunteered to become a test subject so her younger sister Aerith would be spared the pain of becoming one of Hojo's lab rats. Not long after she met another Shinra test subject named Sephiroth.
When the sisters barely escaped the Shinra Labs and lost their parents in the process, Juvelle intrusted Aerith's safety to a stranger and vowed to get answers from Shinra Cooperated.
