Hot shot is an active and playful child. He lives with his parents Heatwave and Quickshadow. They live in Fort Worth Texas. They live a very happy life there. However soon Hot shot begins to feel unwell. He has a headache, he has nausea with vomiting, he is tired, he is cranky, and having trouble with his right leg.  On the week before his fifth birthday Hot shot has to be taken to Cook Children's hospital. Hot shot has an MRI done and other tests done. Then Hot shot is diagnosed with Choroid Plexus Carcinoma a type of brain tumor that is brain cancer. Hot shot is brave and ready to fight his cancer head on with his stuffed Rhino Roxy who he got as a present. Hot shot makes friends with four other kids the same age with the same type of cancer.
