Hot shot is an active and playful child. He lives with his parents Heatwave and Quickshadow. They live in Fort Worth Texas. They live a very happy life there. However soon Hot shot begins to feel unwell. He has a headache, he has nausea with vomiting, he is tired, he is cranky, and having trouble with his right leg.  On the week before his fifth birthday Hot shot has to be taken to Cook Children's hospital. Hot shot has an MRI done and other tests done. Then Hot shot is diagnosed with Choroid Plexus Carcinoma a type of brain tumor that is brain cancer. Hot shot is brave and ready to fight his cancer head on with his stuffed Rhino Roxy who he got as a present. Hot shot makes friends with four other kids the same age with the same type of cancer. They decide to fight their cancer together and become the best of friends. They are determined to win too! (Humanized)

His father Heatwave is a firefighter and his mother Quickshadow is a stay at home mom. Hot shot loves to run around jump and play. He loves sports too. Hot shot is thinking about being a firefighter or baseball player or zookeeper who works with rhinos or something else. Hot shot has always been healthy. However soon in early May Hot shot feels unwell. Hot shot has a constant headache, he is vomiting, he was walking funny, having trouble with his eyes, he has a stiff neck and a head tilt. His parents take him to Texas Children's Hospital to see what is wrong. Hot shot gets an MRI and he is diagnosed with a brain tumor. Hot shot gets the tumor biopsied and he is then diagnosed with Medulloblastoma a type of brain cancer. Hot shot is brave and ready to fight his cancer. Hot shot makes friends with four other kids his age with the same type of cancer. They decide to fight their cancer together and they become the best of friends. They are happy with their life and soon they have a son. They name him Hot shot. They love Hot shot very much. Hot shot is growing into a very happy and active child. He loves to run, jump, climb and play. He is now five years old. Hot shot soon begins to feel unwell in May. Hot shot is wondering why he is feeling so bad. He has a headache that won't go away, he is vomiting, he is tired, he is walking funny, he is loosing coordination, he is falling down a lot, and he has a head tilt. He is feeling so bad one night his parents rush him to the ER of Cook Children's hospital. There Hot shot is admitted for being sick and was in a lot of pain. A hospitalist who is caring for Hot shot is worried and decides a scan is needed. The next morning she sends Hot shot to get an MRI. Then Hot shot is discovered to have a brain tumor. The brain tumor gets a biopsy sample. Then Hot shot is diagnosed with Medulloblastoma a type of brain cancer. Hot shot is ready to be brave and fight his cancer.
