This is an AU about Evil Leafy corrupting everyone in her way. Some of the contestants will survive. Some won't. The theory about Golf Ball creating Evil Leafy would be headcanon by me. Everything would be mostly in chaos. I will make Flower one of the main characters who survived. BFB and BFDI: TPOT would be mostly together in this AU. The survivors wouldn't argue or anything. Details about the Evil Leafy's Return (ELR - shortened): Everyone except the survivors would be infected and go insane. They become bloodthirsty and violent. They would try to kill or infect the survivors. The hosts of the show included the main characters, which were, of course, the main characters. My standards would mostly pick them, but I can change that after the events of BFB and the first TPOT, the Death. P.A.C.T.ers would be mostly the most significant group who survived and saved some other contestants. Most of the contestants would be fully infected or half-infected. The contestants would also be injured by a fork or other sharp and dangerous objects and be bandaged. The story surrounds Flower, so she is the protagonist, Lollipop being the deuteragonist and Taco the tritagonist. This is a story about friendship and radio silence, panic and loss and about finding something that was really always there. But perhaps this is really a story about lakes, rocks and ripples. Because - at the heart - that's really what 9/11 is. Alternating POV * ** * Disclaimer: I do not own Elementary; I am not personally connected to 9/11; I do not speak for anyone; this is simply a work of fiction designed to work through feelings and emotions. AN: I'm not sure this is absolutely my favorite story, but it is definitely the one I am most proud of. It's not actually a style I'm used to, but I was feeling emotional and inspired and I thought to myself 'let's see where this idea leads' and things had gone off the rails before I realized. This is the story that burned me out, I think, but it's also therapeutic for me because there were some things that needed to come out despite having no 'real' connection to 9/11. Please no spoilers in the comments - I haven't seen The Finale yet -, but I am reasonably certain that there are no spoilers in this story. Just in case, please familiarize yourself with at least up to Season/Series 5 episode 'Fidelity' and know the following characters: Ms. Hudson, Lin, Alfredo, Kitty, Archie and a few others including Mason of the Irregulars. Rating: I have a problem with rating this story, because of a variety of reasons. On the one hand, I understand 'Mature'. On the other, it's 9/11. Fully grown adults back then are still having trouble understanding it now. How is something like this supposed to be categorized? Kids get dragged into natural and manmade disasters and tragedies, but this is on a whole different level and they have to learn about 9/11. If pressed, I can rate it 'M', but I think it is best left 'Unrated'.
