One day, Xingqiu arrives at Chongyun's house with a new book, saying he wanted to live out the steps the protagonist of that book took to finally find his true love, and invites Chongyun to go on this journey to Sumeru with him, however, the boy had a plan, which Chongyun was unaware of. Upon arriving there, they meet a few more people, a man with large ears and his companion who is a named general, a girl with a serious illness, and two rather curious men...
