What's better than being alone and locked away in quarantine inside your apartment? Almost everything when you realize this isn't a TV show or any of the books you've read. You've spent countless time alone now with your only interactions with your fellow human-beings are either being through your front door or by watching them stroll by your front window on the third story of your apartment.
Life in the mundane somehow seemed more attractive than this, but now that you've living a day-to-day boring survival life style, you've found yourself longing basic human interaction above all else... Well, maybe not above a sandwich or cheese pizza.
Things take a turn when you start interacting with your upstairs neighbors- whom you thought were either evacuated or simply not there. You could only relay on hazy memories of the family, much of which revolved around the family's daughter... Ashley Graves, the weird, loud, and kind annoying one. Hard to forget.

A fanfiction based on the video game, Sallyface. There are always thoughts shoved far back in my mind that I wouldn't dare say aloud. There are memories and stories I want to be heard but won't budge for the life of me. Maybe it's the lack of awkwardness it maintains, or maybe it's the fear of disgust looks towards me that's keeping me from saying these thoughts aloud. I don't know, but it doesn't really matter in the end. I will be dead by the end of May and there's nothing stopping the inevitable. I wish that I could run from this; hide, but I can't. It's here. I was inspired to write my own Ashley Graves x Male Reader story. I am fearful. I'm not sure how good this will be, because Ashley is a bit of a hard character to write. If anybody has tips or ideas for me, they are very much appreciated. I plan to extend this a good way past the story of the actual game (assuming I can actually commit to it for that long), so I guess we'll see how that goes. Bear with me, I guess.
