After Gordon fell into the ditch, the Fat Controller became very concerned that something similar could happen again. So he decided to acquire a new and stronger crane to lift engines. He's a good fellow but he seemed to have gotten off on the wrong foot.

Dear readers, There were many engines on The Fat Controller's railway who weren't written about by Wilbert Audrey. There are several different reasons as to why, from not wanting to be written about to Wilbert having too much on his plate already. (I personally blame the publishers for that last one.)
