Katrina's a normal 15 year old girl; starting to finish puberty, hanging onto her grades by finger tips, cares more about what people think about her than anything else. But she doesn't know her parents. She doesn't even know what happened to them. Her brother, Derek, refuses to tell her. She has a hard time finding friends. And when she does find one at the age of 12, he disappears. Everyone seems to leave her. Then one day he comes back, telling her she needs to come with him. She refuses to do so, so he gives her a piece of paper with something written on it telling her to give it to her brother. The next thing she knows is she's leaving. Not just her town, or country, but the world. With such few information on everything, she drags along her only friend left with her.
