I am rewriting the story of "Heart Made of Ice."
Kate Brooks, a disabled girl from Mississippi, is described as beautiful, intelligent, and a talented writer. While in England, she falls in love with a boy named James Peterson. Upon returning to Mississippi, James fails to keep his promise to write to Kate. Instead, his cousin John, who is also in love with Kate, begins writing to her, pretending to be James.
When Kate visits James, she is met with rudeness and cruelty, leaving her confused and heartbroken. In an attempt to escape her pain, Kate purchases an abandoned cabin in the woods.
Upon discovering how James mistreated Kate, John sets out to find her. He eventually confesses to writing the letters, causing Kate to initially be angry with him. However, she eventually forgives John, who then proposes to her. Kate accepts his proposal, and the couple announces their engagement to their families.
Despite their happiness, three individuals are determined to keep John and Kate apart.
A misunderstood popular girl named kimberly, meets an antisocial boy named Wyatt who gets picked on for writing stories and together they form an unlikely friendship or so Wyatt thinks until one day she turns on him and their friendship crumbles just moments later. 5 years later they cross paths again as coworkers on a popular web novel series and are forced to work together. During this time, the two face life changing scenarios which bring them closer together & reveal some nasty secrets and hidden feelings. The question now is can both of them let go of their past an be happy together? Or will they let the past rob them of a second chance for true love and happiness?
