The second year of Hogwarts is afoot for Thomas Jacobs. The first year went quite well if he did so so himself, besides for the fact that he almost died. He also made some friends. Harry Potter. The boy who lived. Hermione Granger. The smartest person he had ever known. And Ron.

Last year he learnt he was a wizard and came to Hogwarts, where he found out a lot about his mother and barely anything about his father, but he must've been a big deal. All he had to really remember his parents by was his mother's journal while she was at Hogwarts, a red necklace and a letter from his mom. But it was burned before he got a chance to read it.  Someday, he was going to find out the mystery of who his mom and dad was. Why they left him at this awful orphanage. And he would not rest until he found that out.All Rights Reserved

Hermione, of course, easily agrees and is actually excited. Ron and Harry would rather not go, but, of course, Mrs. Weasley is making them. All summer, Ron has been moody and distant. But lately, he's been rude and almost cruel towards Harry and Hermione. And when they arrive at Hogwarts, Ron starts acting possessive and abusive. Hermione was going to tell someone, but as much as she hated to admit it, she's clueless. She's hurting physically and emotionally. And worst of all, she's scared. She's backed into a corner and has no one to run to. Or does she?
