A Court of Snow and Storms
One year ago, Prythian suffered an attack at the hands of the necromancer, Melantha. She was ultimately defeated, but the marks of her terrible influence still remain in the memories and on the bodies of her victims. Wynter, Heir to the Winter Court, bears many of those marks. Unable to live with himself after what happened on the island Inmortui, Wynter chose to go into seclusion and face his lingering trauma alone. Regardless of his attempts to isolate himself, there are those who refuse to abandon him, no matter how badly he wishes they would. Elodie Rohese has carried a fondness towards Wynter since she first met him, just before he was kidnapped by Melantha. She refuses to leave him alone in his isolation, and instead, visits his home frequently, even though he never admits her. Despite her uncle's wrath and prejudices, Elodie continues to reach out to Wynter. When circumstances finally drive Wynter to answer her, they are both swept into a storm of unresolved trauma and unacknowledged romance. A Court of Flames and Shadows
Daemati are feared and coveted throughout Prythian. Seren Marzena is one of the few among their ranks. When her power is revealed to Beron Vanserra, High Lord of the Autumn Court, he is quick to take advantage of her. Beron no longer trusts his eldest son, Eris, believing him to be allied with the Night Court. Beyond that, Beron seeks several dangerous artifacts that are protected by members of the Night Court. He seeks the Dread Trove and the swords created by Nesta Archeron. It is up to Seren to infiltrate the Night Court and learn all that Beron wishes to know. Her task will be harder than it seems. A year has passed since Seren Marzena returned to the Night Court with her mate, Azriel. Their time of rest is coming to an end. Plans long kept silent are now being enacted. All across Prythian, threats are revealing themselves. The three Mortal Queens have returned and pledged their allegiance to Koschei, an ancient god who is determined to see Prythian crumble beneath him. Old allies are becoming new enemies as Koschei's influence spreads. He and the Queens must be defeated before they locate Prythian's most powerful artifacts. Time is running out for everyone. If the Courts cannot band together and summon their remaining allies in time, all will be lost.
