Some relationships are meant to be and some are meant to crumble. Madeline was forced to split with her high school sweetheart her junior year when he joined the Marines. When Jake is finally home for good soon after, Madeline's world flips upside down. In a horrible accident, she loses her memory of Danny completely and vaguely remembers Jake.
