Romance
Some relationships are meant to be and some are meant to crumble. Madeline was forced to split with her high school sweetheart her junior year when he joined the Marines. Even though they kept in contact and the high school break up was amicable, she eventually falls into the arms of another guy at the age of 20. Being two years older than her, Jake knew he would win her back when he came home for good, no matter who she was dating. Her new boyfriend, Danny, becomes a monster after a mere 6 months together. She can't get away and she can only give certain details of the relationship to her best friend Jane and her ex Jake, who's thousands of miles away. Suffering through the challenging 1.5 year relationship, Madeline is faced with a choice when Danny makes the biggest mistake he's ever made while at a party. When Jake is finally home for good soon after, Madeline's world flips upside down. In a horrible accident, she loses her memory of Danny completely and vaguely remembers Jake. What will it take for Jake to keep Danny away? How will Madeline cope with her memories being wiped away? Who is responsible for the accident?

Being a marine was all Jules wanted to be, despite her parents reservations. However, being caught in an explosion in Afghanistan, Jules is sent home with no memory of her time there or the love she found overseas. Now, two years later, Julia is working in the local library, with an overprotective mother who would do anything to keep her from learning the truth. But will a chance encounter with someone from her past make Julia remember who she truly is -and can she ever be the same person again? Just a few notes: 1. My knowledge of the Armed Forces is limited so expect mistakes although I shall try my best to make everything as accurate as possible. 2. I have recently posted the prequel to this book called 'Seven Years'. 3.This book is dedicated to all the men and women who put themselves in harms way to serve their country, wherever they may be; past and present.
