This is a romantic tale of two childhood friends Nila and Kathir who grew up in a coastal village and work in a cashew nut processing unit. They work hard as manual cashew nut shellers- where they had to use pebbles or hammers to break the outer shells after sun drying them to extract the inner cashew nuts - for consumption. During this process, caustic oil seeped into the palms of the laborers and caused black marks that would burn. Despite their poverty-driven lives, the two friends Nila and Kathir support each other. Circumstances tightened when Kathir had to quit school education due to his ailing mother and Nila had to resort to studies to bring a change in their economic conditions. They parted ways. Years later having all grown up into adulthood they meet in the village near the seashore, during the twlight.

This is a little romance for my two lovely straight male friends. Okay maybe minus the romance at this point... We try to be extremely interactive with comments! Unless you're a bot advertising some scam Insta. All characters do exist in real life (but are heavily altered for funsies and anonymity). Any scenarios or stories featured, however, are about 84.26015379% made up (but this description is a clean 100% untrustworthy!!) Each chapter basically consists of excessive swearing and way too many random events, but trust me when I say it's not THAT bad. You'll survive, hopefully.
