Dustfinger is an orphaned teenage fire-eater in the kingdom of Argenta. His struggle for survival gets him entangled with Capricorn and his men. They break into the Castle of Night where Dustfinger discovers a strange connection to a shapeshifter named Gwin. This story can be enjoyed without ever having read Inkheart.

This is not entirely canon because this started as an original story I wrote that I'm now changing into an Inkheart/Dustfinger fanfic because it was essentially already a fanfic in disguise lolAll Rights Reserved
